How long have you been in drill:

12 years

Name & Breed of horse you ride in drill:

Sampson (9 yr old-paint) & Cowboy (6 yr old paint)

How many children do you have? Ages:

Colten- 4 yr old

How many miles do you travel to drill practice:

At least 20 miles ea way

Most memorable moment (date & event):

I guess after 12 years, you have several "moments" one of which
includes breaking my arm at the rodeo grounds just before the 4th of July rodeo at Sedro Woolley, Wa in
1995. Another is winning the States Freestyle Championship title in 1998. Most recently it would have to be our
perf. at Cashmere in 2004, we rocked the place, the weather was perfect, the music was loud, the stands were
packed, we were flying and we nailed our perf. it was awesome!!

Favorite Rodeo Performance (why):

I love them all for different reasons, we have developed a great schedule
of rodeos over the past few years. If I have to pick, it would have to be Cashmere because the hospitality
is incredible and it's a well put together rodeo w/a great crowd. We always have a great time.

What do you like best about being a member of the Skagit Rein Riders:

It's tough to pick what I like best about
being a member... most important is the bonds & friendships I have developed with the other members, it's
a wonderful group of people and the people we associate with are wonderful as well. This team has grown
a lot in the 12 years I've been a member and something that both my horse and I love doing.

What do you think the Skagit Rein Riders have to offer potential members:

If a woman loves riding her horse,
being a part of rodeo and being with other people that enjoy the same, then the Rein Rider's is a wonderful
opportunity. We are very family oriented and do many other activities together besides riding horses. It's
a great opportunity to develop friendships and take your riding skills to the next level.

Other comments:

Sometimes the thought of what we do can be intimidating. If you've ever seen us at a performance
you know that when we perform we do a quick drill at a fast pace while carrying flags. Remember that every single
person out there had to start somewhere, the majority of us had no prior knowledge about drill teams or what
to expect, we just jumped in. Fortunately we have opportunities to allow a rider to grow and gain confidence without
jumping immediately into a "rodeo performance". Give it a try but be warned- it's addicting!!!
