The Skagit Rein Riders is a Ladies Equestrian Drill team. The team was formed in 1986 by a handful of women who had a few things in common: Their love for horses and their desire to devote their spare time and energy to this love. The team has grown and developed into one of the most entertaining and exciting performance drill teams in the Northwest! They have grown to become one of the finest equestrian drill teams in Washington State. They practice 3-5 hours a week to get these high-speed maneuvers timed just right. They enjoy traveling across the Northwest and performing at various rodeos, exhibitions, and parades. Their performance is a fast-paced, high energy, musical show with full-size flags waving as they gallop around the arena. They are always looking for new members, sponsors, or events to perform at! |
